Fund Overview

Greenfield Hill Capital Management LLC (“Greenfield Hill”) launched in May 2026 on the Riptide Advisors investment platform and is headquartered in Fairfield, CT. Greenfield Hill manages the Riptide Fund LLC – Series 13 – Greenfield Hill Capital Fund which is a long/short equity fund seeking strong returns in both bull and bear markets. Greenfield Hill is focused on spin-offs, post-reorg equities, levered equities, and special situations. Greenfield Hill will also opportunistically target credit investments in stressed capital structures. Greenfield attempts to mitigate volatility with modest gross/net exposures. Chris Paryse, the Portfolio Manager, has over 23 years of experience in both public equities and high yield/distressed credit.

The Greenfield Hill Edge

  • Focus on special situation equity investments whose returns are driven by idiosyncratic catalysts that create value
  • Focus on small and microcap investments that are often overlooked by larger asset managers
  • Credit background provides a differentiated view with respect to levered/distressed equities
  • Small size allows us to remain nimble on both the long and short side in what are often illiquid investments for larger funds
  • Focus on constructive activism with management teams and Boards of Directors
